Meet Your Doctor

Dr. Benjamin Larsen was born in Eastern Idaho. Dr. Ben has been a local family physician since 2018 when he moved to Ogden, UT from San Antonio, Texas. 

His decision to go into Family Medicine was based on his strong desire to help people achieve their optimal state of health and wellness. His background in running since twelve years old has piqued his interest in preventative medicine and an integrative approach to health and wellness. Preventing disease is of utmost importance to Dr. Ben.

His style is based in traditional Family Medicine but with a holistic, functional medicine approach. He still prescribes medications and has worked in various settings including Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Urgent Care, and Emergency Medicine. He takes pride in practicing low-cost family medicine. He believes in providing care that is comprehensive and patient-driven which results in fewer adverse outcomes and lower costs. Determining appropriate treatment can reduce unnecessary testing and therefore improve outcomes. 

Recently, he received additional training in vasectomies and ultrasound. He is very enthusiastic about expanding his knowledge base and is always looking for ways to deepen his understanding of health and wellness. 

 In between providing compassionate and affordable care, Dr. Ben can be found enjoying time with his beautiful wife (Jessica) and four children (Emma, Gracie, Benson, and Hope). They are an active family who enjoy skiing, biking, hiking, soccer, basketball, and especially running. Dr. Ben recently qualified for the Boston Marathon and is hoping to run his first Boston Marathon in the next year. They are actively involved members of their church. Dr. Ben is a pianist, woodworker, Eagle Scout, gardener, and avid collector & builder of LEGO. Stop by the office to see the newest additions to his collection.
